The Runway Was Ripped Last Night, RIP THE RUNWAY Was the Culprit...

Actor, model, and rip the runway host mehcad Brooks
So I had been anticipating BET's Rip The Runway.  Waiting to see what these designers will throw down, what the musicians are going to pull out there hats, and what production and swag would grace the runway.  Mehcad Brooks and Selita Ebanks were both dapper and donesque.  I do have to say they weren't fluid though. Didn't mesh well. But not too much where it took away from the show.

Victoria's Secret Model and Rip The Runway Hostess Selita Ebanks

The Pretty Girl took lead with designer Rachel Roy.  Colorful and a bold shoe collection coined Rachel. Keri has great stage presence and didn't fail to entertain.

Hatian designer WISB brought us an earth friendly, traditonal yet edgy line.  Head wraps were a trend in his show with the New Boyz.

Lloyd introduced the plus sized segment, or as I would like to call it, "Our Curvey Fetish" and ain't nothin wrong wit dat! Tenille White accentuated the most beautiful parts of a woman's body in this classy woman strut.

Producer, artist extraordinaire Pharrell
Man Vs Machine adorned the runway next with the likes of Melanie Fiona and a fashionable look at the skaters wardrobe. From business to play you can maintain your image. This is something I've preached over and over, jus sayin. Kanye shrug.

Pittsburgh's Own Wiz Khalifa

This kid Wiz Khalifah has taken the hip hop world by storm. Making all the right connects. Hats off bruh.  He didn't front when he rolled up on fashion designer, hostess, Super Model Selita Ebanks.

OMG, Lawd Hah Murcy! Girl You Be Killen Em!  Lila Nikole Damn sure kept my attention with the hot swimsuit line. Repreenting out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida I give shouts to Broward County's own. lol

Laquan Smith of Queens, New York Ripped The Runway with Miguel's International Baby tune.  With lights and futuristic costumes the runway was ignited with a stunning cast of models.

Addidas' "Respect Me" by Missey Elliott

All in all I enjoyed the production and thought the fashion tips and P.A.'s by Selita and Mehcad were on time. A hygiene lesson for the guys spoke volumes. Are we really having to give a lesson on hygiene to grown men? I guess so.  Until next time.
